Plastic surgeons see many women who are interested in getting breast implants but are planning on getting pregnant at some point in the future. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ 2008 plastic surgery statistics, breast augmentation is the most popular plastic surgery procedure performed on women aged 20 to 39.
In March of 2009, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal published the results of a survey conducted among members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery that revealed the most commonly used breast implant size, type, placement, and incisional approach used by cosmetic surgeons.
