What can recovery actually look like after a deep plane facelift?

“How long is the actual recovery before you can go back to work?”
Dr. Deuber replied:
“She is 4 weeks post op; most people could return to work in 7–10 days.”
That’s an important distinction. This video happens to show the patient at her four-week visit, but four weeks is not the typical amount of time Dr. Deuber says his patients need before returning to work. Most can return in approximately 7–10 days.
Recovery varies by patient, the extent of surgery and the demands of someone’s work, and healing continues after normal daily activities have resumed.
Why can recovery be so quick?
One important part of Dr. Deuber’s MobileDeepPlane Facelift™ technique is hemostatic netting, which helps minimize bleeding following surgery and thereby reduces the bruising and swelling that can prolong early facelift recovery.
The procedure also differs from a skin-tightening facelift. Dr. Deuber repositions the deeper facial tissues—including skin, fat and the SMAS layer—as a composite unit. This allows the deeper structures to support the lift rather than placing excessive tension on the skin.
